Getting results that matter to you

How do you know you are getting results at work that matter to you? Not just results that matter to your company.

Your boss might not like to hear this, but the first person you work for is you. And although mentorship is helpful, you need a way to check your results with yourself.

The problem is our mind can often be unclear, even to ourselves. People will spend thousands of dollars to go to meditation retreats to ask themselves how they are doing.

Here is a simpler method. Four questions I use to help me know what to focus on.

Ask yourself if the expectations you have for your work are realistic? Can you share and protect your emotions at work? Are you aware of what you want at work? Finally, do you know your worth?

If you answer yes to these questions, you are getting results that matter to you. If you answer no to one, that is a problem for you to fix. If you answer no to all, maybe give me a call.

These questions work because we only need to focus on four actions; doing, feeling, thinking, and being. And if we are healthy in all these actions, we are well.
